A TREATMENT AND TRAINING IN ONE

EMS training is a scientifically supported form of training with roots in physiotherapy.

 This time's optimized training is also a treatment that relieves muscular imbalances and thus ensures an optimal posture. EMS is a gentle and effective training.

 By training with XBody's EMS technology, you can achieve the results of a 90-minute HIIT (high intensity) workout in just 20 minutes, guided by one of our skilled instructors.

Treatment

If there are muscular imbalances or underdeveloped muscles in the body, EMS can be used to adjust these. It is easy to target the relevant muscle groups with the professional placement of electrodes in the specialized XBODY suit. No external weight is required and thus no risk of joint and ligament overload.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND EMS..

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) may sound like a fancy term, but it's actually quite familiar to how our bodies naturally work. Picture this: When we move, our brains send signals to our muscles, telling them to contract and relax, like pressing buttons to make them move. EMS simply mimics this natural process by sending gentle electrical pulses directly to the muscles, acting as a sort of 'remote control' for our muscles. It's like giving our muscles a helpful nudge to work a little harder during exercise. So, while EMS may seem high-tech, it's really just harnessing the body's own mechanisms to help us achieve stronger, healthier muscles. EMS stands out from conventional training because it has the unique ability to activate fast-twitch muscle fibers right from the get-go. In traditional exercise, it often takes several repetitions or sets to engage these fast-twitch fibers, which are responsible for explosive movements like sprinting or jumping. However, with EMS, the electrical impulses directly stimulate these fast-twitch fibers from the very beginning of the session. It's like jump-starting your muscles into action, allowing you to tap into their full potential immediately. This means that even short EMS sessions can provide intense muscle activation and effectively target these crucial fast-twitch fibers, leading to improved speed, power, and overall athletic performance.

DOES IT WORK?

Don't be fooled by the short training times. EMS is neither an easy nor lazy solution. The intensity of the workout feel like you've been training hard – and the results are accordingly. After the first session, you will be able to feel your muscles being activated.  After 6 sessions you will start to see and feel the difference. However, the results depend on many factors like excess weight, muscle condition, nutrition, current training regimen, water intake, gender, and age.

PAIN RELIEF?

Since EMS strengthens your core which will help your posture as well as activates even the smallest muscle groups, customers often find that EMS relieves daily pain caused by sitting stills.

IS EMS ENOUGH?

EMS can easily be practiced as your primary workout. However, many also use EMS to boost their training after a long break, or as a supplement to regular training. We recommend that you listen to your body.

IS EMS SAFE?

Yes. The low-frequency impulses only affect the striated skeletal muscles, which means it can’t reach the organs or the heart.

WHAT TO WEAR?

All you will need is a special undergarment (cotton-based) that is available for purchase from us. You wear it every time you train. The undergarment is designed to ensure maximum connectivity with the device and your body.
